Soo Braunstein
Soo Braunstein is a glass artist and founder of For the Love of Glass, a studio born from her love of color which became apparent with the collecting of kaleidoscopes.
A college-educated woman with a varied career path, Soo discovered her passion for glass later in life. As an empty nester, she began taking basic Glass Fusing classes. She was hooked and a passion she’d been looking for her whole life was born.
What started as admiration for these mesmerizing instruments of light sparked a journey that would evolve into a full-fledged artistic calling. Soo enjoys the continuous journey of taking classes to learn and explore new techniques in the glass world. Through her company, For the Love of Glass, Soo shares not only her art but her belief that it’s never too late to find your creative voice. Her studio serves as both a workspace and a source of inspiration and serenity.

SOUTHWEST hearts
During the pandemic glass artists decided to make glass hearts for front line workers. Since I fly Southwest quite a bit, I decided to take it a step further and make the hearts into a pin with the Southwest colors. The positive feedback was overwhelming and I continue this project to this day.
My goal is to walk onto a flight and see someone on the crew wearing one!
